Kudos to Arthur Wu for his water drop macro lens, and you for posting it. Just tried it. Works great, takes a steady hand :) Thanks to you both.

    Hey Brian,
I was playing with my iPhone and really really wanted to take macro images without buying a macro attachment for it. I remembered reading about water droplet lenses being developed for digital cameras in the future and though, "hmm, maybe a water drop can create a macro lens for me?" Lo and behold, I got some sweet sweet macro shots with a stock iPhone with a tiny drop of water. Check out the pics!

You take a drop of water on your finger and dab it onto the iPhone lens. Normally this'll be way too much to take a good shot so turn the phone upside down and give it a light shake to throw off most of the water. Now you have just enough surface adhesion so you can take macro shots without worrying about the water dripping off. Place your target 1cm - 2cm away from the lens and shoot away! I was blown away by the magnification I could get with just the water droplet. I absolutely love this site so I thought I'd share it only with you guys :) Enjoy!

Is there an age limit for the Giz Gallery? I'm 13 and I want to see the awesome gadgets you guys have there. You guys have stuff there that might be a little questionable in my parents view and I don't want to drive from delaware to New york and not be allowed to go. (I'd visit some apple stores though)

    Chello Bri Bri!
I am leaving you a comment since you haven't received one in a while. Hope all is well, Congrats again on Lisa's guest spot. The fruit baskets in the mail...to a random address I thought might be yours...or was it pizza huts? OH WELL! Thought that counts!

I propose regular regional meetups. I'm a NYC guy. Don't know if there's any interest, but when I mentioned $2 PBR, some people perked their lil ears up. Lemme know you're feelings on it.
