Hey Sean, just read your post on Mac to PC/ PC to Mac, I'm a digital artist, and after owning 6 Macs, I'm now 100% Windows based in all my work. I wrote about my experience on my own blog, you can read it here:

    Thanks

Hi Sean, I think your post about leaving game systems on or off needs to be clarified, otherwise it won't yield accurate results. When you turn your game system off (using the button on the front) it's actually in standby. This is how you can turn it on from the controller, and how it can continue downloads. I can't imagine that 76% of our readers unplug it from the power adapter or from the wall (when it's actually OFF). Thanks.

Hello Sean -- I posted to your thread on Peek. Thanks for writing about us. Interesting to hear what people think. Though I'm afraid too many folks are under the impression that Peek is made for the PS3-playing, iPhone-toting, gadget lovers out there.... It's more made for their moms and girlfriends!

Hello. I just wanted to say that the SF Gate has had the most biased coverage on the so called "S.F. Hacker". They have taken things that most admins do (like outside network access for fixing a downed network) and twisted it to look like something wrong.

There is a very good article here [www.networkworld.com] Check that one. It takes a much better non-biased look and includes the writing from someone with first hand insight from someone who knows something about the situation he is talking about.

I'd like to see more actual technical facts with actual technical expert opinions then the political and layperson verbose finger pointing.

    Good evening Mr. Fallon,

You probably recieved a similar message earlier, from my friend. This is regarding the article you did about the professor from SCAD that is doing art work involving guns.

I wanted you to know that I have been employing a similar way of creating art. I use a gun to shoot an image into six foot sheets of aluminum metal, I call the series Deweaponizing the Gun. I have been doing this for about 5 years.

I have also created an companion audio peice for my series called Shooting/Loading. It is a one sided vinyl record that contains 17 minutes of me shooting and loading while working on one of my works.

I would appreciate it if you could mention me in your article since it relates to the topic.

    Thank you for your time!

Walt Creel of Birmingham Alabama uses a similar but more refined technique to create art. He takes 6x4 foot aluminum painted white and shoots actual images into them

He has even created a a one sided 12" record of the recording of his work.
